A near shore water temp of 70 degrees seems to be the magic number here on the north central Gulf Coast.

Last reading I see out of PCB and Destin has the ocean temp at 59 degrees....

We are just gonna run some gas through our boat this weekend. Should be nice. Might probe around and I will provide a report

From what I hear the gulf shores pier has been loaded with Spanish lately.

None yet in the big bend. Super clear water though and warming up. Squid is showing up to the west of us, so Macs will be close behind. I give them 3 weeks max

I donít want to talk about that ... no wahoo at either of the 311ís, any of the 117ís or the buoys.

I did see about a 50lb cubera while Freediving, unfortunately my spear didnít go in more than a few inches and he got away. Heartbreaking day.. not to mention it was rough as hell!
