More info I received today.
Attached you will find some very exciting news about the inaugural Quarter Million Dollar MARLIN JACKPOT and the MGCBGFC's Spring Tournament.
Some quick info on the Marlin Jackpot and Spring Tournament......
1) The Marlin Jackpot/Spring Tournament will follow the The Billfish Classic in Biloxi at the Golden Nugget - the very next weekend!
2) Enter either tournament or both
3) Jackpot entry fee $5,000 includes as many anglers as you wish(entry form attached)
4) Winner takes 90% of total entry fees in Marlin Jackpot
5) Example: 56 teams entered, winning team/boat takes home $252,000
6) Both tournaments are strictly Tag & Release(rules attached)
7) If we receive your entry fee no later than May 31st, your team can compete in both tournaments for $5,000!
8) Club Spring Tournament entry fee $1,000, as many anglers as you wish(entry form attached)
9) You must be entered in the Spring Tournament to participate in the Optional Prize Money categories.
10) Club Membership comes with paid Marlin Jackpot entry
11) Same tournament format(leave time, fishing days, etc.) as the Billfish Classic, Emerald Coast and Grand Championship,
with one exception - scales will be open on Saturday only.
11) Mailing address for entry forms;
