Ridden the 18 mile trail a few times there. I have a trail right down the road (swayback trail) which is a 8 mile trail.

Helped move the BMX track at Oak to the new location in the back of the park and helped build it. First person to break something on the new track!

Default A Transplant from UK Wildcat Country

My name is Dwight Seymore. I relocated to Foley from western Kentucky last July. I am blessed to have a great wife who just retired from her role as school superintendent, and a son who is an assistant prosecutor in the Baldwin DA's office. I spent the past 25 years in the insurance business as an agency owner, and have recently semi-retired and now do risk mangement consulting(when I have to). My son Matt is a die-hard kayak fisherman and I have a Jupiter 31CC from which I wet a line or two. Love the area and the people here, and look forward to meeting and maybe fishing with some of you. Great to have THT--I check it daily. Good stuff!!!!!!!! Will post some photos as soon as I learn how.

My turn!
I'm Daniel George. I'm 29, was born and raised in Mobile, went to Southern Miss and U of A. I'm married to Alisha, who somehow puts up with me, and we have 6 yr. old twins, Daniel Jr., and Grace. We all love the water. I was lucky enough to find a woman who loves to fish as much as I do!
I'm on my 8th boat. In 13 years I've gone from a Stauter to a Regulator. The Regulator rides better than the Stauter. We recently bought a condo on Dauphin Island, complete with a boat lift and fish cleaning station (in other words the perfect place). We stayed there almost every weekend last year, but are planning on renting it out more this year and for a few years to come to go ahead and pay it off.

We try to go to as many Bama games as we can every year. We normally make it to about three or four. We absolutely stay on the go. Actually we never stop. I'm an automated welding programmer for Technip, and Alisha runs a moving company. I work a minimum of 60 hrs. a week and she works
50. Of course we have T-ball and gymnastics with the kids, two homes to maintain, the boat, and countless other things to do. For instance, right now we are in the middle of a TV shoot for HGTV. Yep, your ol' buddy DLG is gonna be on TV! I'll make sure I tell everyone when the episode is going to air. Sometimes I feel like I have way to many irons in the fire, but hey, It's never boring. Anyway, here's some pics of the vessel and crew. Enjoy!

She let me plan our wedding around the full moon in September we fished the North Drop for a couple of days on our Honeymoon, it was awesome!!!! I have a 31 Contender “Fish Eye” and will fish for anything that swims, but swordfish is what gets my blood flowing.
Hey Angelo! My dad, Ronnie, works for Aerial Access as well. It's a small world. He has spoken of you many times.

It is a small world... I thought that you might have been Ronnie's son per your boats, as he has spoken of you as well.

Hey Domino, any chance you were tied up to that stick rig (about 7 miles out) last summer? I think it may have been during the rodeo, but there was a yellow Sea Chaser that was tearing the kings up on after another.

Daniel,

Do you keep your boat at Negus in Mobile? Those sheds look familiar.

No. That's at a boat & RV storage place in Theodore. I keep it there during the winter.

That place on Rangeline is the best. I used to keep a boat there when I lived in Mobile.

I respectfully disagree. Negus is great. I keep mine in a shed there with all of my gear. They have a wash bay and if I ever need any work done, they just walk over and get it, do all of the work to it and then put it back in the shed for me.

My comment could be taken the wrong way. What I should have said is I really liked that place on Rangeline.

No experience with Negus or anywhere else

I live in Mandeville LA-- That is the best Flounder spot on the planet in the spring.

You should read the book " The Island in Between" Tells the history of the island between Rigolets and Chef.

Only us true coonass's can really understsnad how that island has chnaged over the last 40 years.

I have always loved fishing the Rigolets and the Lake Borgne aproaches.

My name is Jason and live in Satsuma AL. Married for 6 years to my wife Heather one daughter 4 years old Hannah, and one on the way any day now.
I'm a rig manager on a offshore drilling rig and currently working in Saudi Arabia.
Offshore fishing is a horrible addiction for me, if I'm not loading my boat to head out, I'm going thru gear, studying maps, texting with my buddies keeping up with the fish, or day dreaming about hooking up.
I mostly fish out of dauphin island and boat name is reelaxin, VHS stays on channel #1. If you see me out stop and talk to me, I'm always looking for new fishing buddies and always willing to share info.
