Default Tallahasee/Panama City/Dothan seafood market?

Any recommendations for a good seafood market that I can pick up some fresh fish, a bushel of oysters, some shrimp, and perhaps a bag of crawfish to take back home (inland)? I do love seafood and all I have at home is catfish and whatever is leftover when the rest of the world has had their fill and the product has gone out of date...they then send it to my part of the world! Just kidding but it seems that way sometimes.

Just a matter of convenience...My daughter and her family live just east of Dothan and we will be taking the grandkids to the beach for a day or two this week...thus the triad of Tallahassee (close), Pananma City (the beach we'll be gong to) and Dothan (on the way home). Oh, I like my MS gulf coast too...big fan of Bay St Louis...my wife and I had just "discovered" it before Katrina...thinking about moving the camper down to LaFrance and keeping it down there and trying out some coastal fishing but don't know anything about it.

P. C. has a few and most will pack to travel. I get most of my seafood from Mark at St Joe Shrimp co in Port St Joe 35 miles E of PC. I get shrimp that were swimming on Thursday night on Fri. Tallahassee has Southern Seafood and it is fresh but pricey as well as Spears Seafood on the W side on Hwy 90. I not sure about Dothan Al. Oysters may be a problem as the Apalachicola bay was closed due to too much fresh water this yr. oh Tallahassee is not close to Dothan or PC. Not sure when you plan this trip but I am sure someone from PC can tell us where to get fresh seafood from. May I suggest Mexico Beach area. Less hassle getting to the water and lot more friendly to the kids. Not sure on distance but the trip would be quicker in my opinion getting to Mexico Beach then driving through PC to get to PC beach.

Cardina's Seafood will have anything your looking for. Their located on Thomas dr. in Panama City Beach. Capt. Andersons seafood market is on the beach as well. Or, while coming through Panama, stop in at the new Shrimp Boat seafood market located in St. Andrews. I believe they claim to get all their seafood exclusively from the commercial fisherman right there in the St. Andrews Marina.

Just go through Eastpoint and you can get oysters virtually off the boat!
