Good salvage for someone with some furry balls!!!
Seatow will scarf it up if they can. They love these storms...

Well my boat got a little sideways last night. 10 years, 3 trips to Abaco and many great memories. Should have taken it out.

The damage is terrible. Between the storm strengthening right before landfall and the NHC missing the east landfall projection people didn't have time to prepare. Luckily, it appears to be mostly boats and marinas, which can be replaced easier than other things.

Almost same situation. I’m more towards Pensacola. Hope they let me in to check.

Gary - sorry about your boat.

Looking like marinas and docks took a big hit in OBA.

I disagree with you on this one. I started prepping Saturday and I'm 25 miles inland in Semmes, AL. If it's anywhere close, you gotta be ready. Only thing I forgot was bread and now I'm about to nuke some spaghettios with the generator. Power's been out since 5:30 this morning, my best friend who's 4 miles away lost power at 8:00 last night. Anything within 200 miles of you might as well be considered a direct hit, especially when it just drops anchor like this one did. My boat is in my shop, which is 130mph rated metal building.

When they get in the gulf you have to be prepared. Don't wait for NHC to tell you where it's gonna go. Things can change rapidly on the gulf coast.

Took my boat off the lift and it’s on supposed high ground under a cover on Perdido Bay. I got news that water got way high on the north end of PB and I can’t get through yet to check on it.

Has anyone heard anything about the Sportsman Marina dry storage buildings in OBA? My boat is there and I'm anxious to hear anything about it. They sent out an email stating that the property was shut down and there was "severe damage".

I don't want to alarm you Jboyles but I've seen pictures of the slips and parking at Sportsman and it not pretty. The only marina I've not heard anything about is Barbers.
