Really feel bad for you guys. Try to stay in a good frame of mind. I know it's tough to do. Most importantly, stay safe and watch out for snakes.

A friend in Mobile heard on the local news that Sportsman Marina was wrecked pretty bad. Anyone have updates on the marinas in OB? I moved the boat to Romar Marina and have no idea how it fared. Given the surge levels it is probably in a heap of boats in the lot next door.

That friggin Berty looks like she's ready to get sum..

On a serious note - hope it is not as bad as some the reports are saying. You can always rebuild and usually better..staying safe is what is important...

Fishers probably had 5 feet downstairs. I would suspect the marina office is toast.
I would also expect some boats went through the roof if they did not come out of the slips.
My buddy Troy is across the street. He got 5 feet in his down stairs. Roy's 27 Onslow floated down Marina Rd.
Shit ain't good.

Any reports on the dry storage building at dauphin island marina? I saw the mess in the wet slips but can’t get any info on the dry storage.

All marinas in OB are wrecked, the whole place is a wreck. I have friends right next to Romar marina, they have one boat in their pool, several where they used to have docks and one or two in their front yard. Hope yours is okay.

Just saw where some friends lost their recently purchased Hatteras liveaboard. It was their first boat. USMC vet and retired AL state trooper and his wife. Just bought it in January and were living the dream in Orange Beach. I sure hope they had good insurance.

Haven't heard from my friends in Gulfport, but I'm thinking their boat will be okay. It would certainly suck to lose two within a year's time.

The other consideration is whether or not the forklift flooded

Safe to assume that the docks at Phoenix On The Bay Are gone?

Prayers to all involved!
