If ya'll want to check live conditions, google Holiday Isle webcams. We have them wired to the generator and they have great shots north and south, until; they don't.
11:55 pm Eastern time. Just furiously wind blown rain.

I live in Panama City. Our phones just sounded off with a tornado warning. I think it is heading away from my house, so should be okay. Good luck to everyone who is in the path of the wind and rain.

Hope all was good overnight for everyone on the coast. We are still taking a little beating in destin. Lost the canvas cover on the boat house and dock is still underwater but looks like nothing major so far. The cape horn is still on the lift so that's a plus. Still getting some pretty serious gusts and high tide is still to come. I'm sure it's worse to the east of us so be safe!

Canít see yet, water is definitely a lot higher, but it was a lot worse than expected. Seeing people on social media who went through Katrina saying this is worse. It just doesnít stop. Will have to wait until sun to see if it actually is that bad.

there will be a lot of bad flooding. I would guess 8ft or more storm surge. Neighbor said his boat was blown off the trailer. Lots of trees down.

Granted one thing that i think is making it bad is itís just sitting. We set in the eye wall for a good 3-4 hours. mental effect on that on people can make it seem a lot worse than it is. Waiting for daylight. I walked outside and the water is up to my cabana, which supposedly itís never been before.

It is not good at all. Damage is extensive. People trapped in home around Bear Point and Marina Rd. Marina Rd has 4-6’ of water all the way down.

Any reports from the Dauphin Island area? My boat and camper are a couple miles north of the bridge going to the island but across the street from Mobile Bay. I tried to call my buddy that lives near there but can't get in touch with him to see if we got any damage

Bayview Condos south side of Wolf Bay. Our dock is in the parking lot. Not any major building damage just some siding.

I'm in Spanish Cove and we go tore up pretty bad up there as well from my understanding. Won't be able to get down there till Friday AM to look at all my things but my neighbor told me that outwardly I look okay.

Heard that there were many that had to be rescued last night in that area and on Old River. If I ever hear "shifted east" again, it will be to soon.

My boat on DI faired ok, just bent an outrigger from flying debris next door. Can't get back on the island yet to look. Thankfully the wind is out of the north pushing the surge out.
Hope everyone to the east is ok...

If anyone needs tree removal message member GCC. He does that as a side business.

You can round up enough good stray lumber to build some nice things after a storm like this. I scooped enough up out of the Gulfport harbor after Ivan to build a nice gazebo.

Our condo on Ole River in Orange Beach suffered damage to the building and lots of damage to the docks.
