Over here in NOLA, we have yet to have a drop of rain. It looks like this will move far enough east of my camp to not challenge the integrity of my pole barn and RV tie down system. I'll be better prepared next time.

It's weird. I feel guilt for feeling relief that I am being spared. These things suck, and I don't wish them on anyone.

I hope the Weather Channel predictions of 12" rain, up to 30" in places, is incorrect. That's a ton of rain in a short period.

Looks to be coming right over my house "ish" . I'm near the airport on Dauphin Island, Graveline Bay. The house is as secure as it can be and the skiff is in Semmes at my daughter's house, but I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty dang nervous. If ya'll want to check live conditions, google Holiday Isle webcams. We have them wired to the generator and they have great shots north and south, until; they don't.

positive note is there are Atleast 50 redfish hanging out that are not normally there, and they are biting!
They get frisky before the storms. I caught over 30 saturday night.

It doesn't look like Ship Island is going to see southerly winds, so maybe no new cut.

I delivered a 53' Hatteras from Cheboygan, MI to Gulfport, MS back in June for some friends who lost their liveaboard 43' Hatteras last December. This will be the second time they've had to head for a safer location, but this time, they had the boat hauled. I think they've decided they're going to move back up inland somewhere after this. Hopefully the boat doesn't leave before they do.

Yes those should be the ones freebird. Still up right now. They switch views every five minutes. The island view is covered pretty well.

I was checking my camp on the north end of Perdido bay and it looked to be frigate birds flying around. Strange.

The water is already over Martinique Dr (Tues., 9;00 a.m) which is the next road past Marina road that goes to Orange Beach Marina. Also got a video from a friend of mine on the backside of ONO at the same time with the water brraking over the main dock. A big section of the walkway has already broken loose. I don't have a real good feeling on this one. There is already a lot of water and it isn't even here yet.

Here's our place in Bear Point, OBA. Pulled the pier up Sunday so we should be good after we shovel the sand off the grass. Neighbors aren't as lucky as far as their piers.

It’s adrift and still transmitting it’s location. It’s had quite a journey since it pulled loose early this morning.
