Default Does Anyone In Orange Beach Recognize This Boat ?

My neighbor's anchor line broke at Ft. .McRae last weekend and before he could get a mask and recover the big plow and about 100' of chain ($1,000), these kids got it and wouldn't return it unless he paid them. He wants his anchor and chain back,

My suggestion would be to call ALEA Marine Patrol with the registration number (if he has a clearer picture) and see what they say.

Blow the photo up and read the registration.

The blow-up didn't work. Still too blurry.

But, people should be weary of screwing others over. In about 1 hour they have already found them. Oh, and in the pic above you can just make out one of the kids flipping off my neighbor as they leave with his ground tackle.

Hard to believe 4 guys could all agree to steal another boaters gear like that. Embarrassed that it's a Grady owner too.

I would have offered them a $100 tip, for their work.

If they wanted much more than $100 I would then get the authorities involved.

So has your neighbor located them? I’m guessing they were on daddy’s boat. I might have gotten the flare gun out.

Read about this yesterday, dick move. They've probably worn out their welcome at Mcree since most of us that hang out there are on the platform that it was posted. Next time their parents are out in the boat, let them know what happened and maybe "daddy" won't be so eager to let the kids borrow the boat again. Oh, and if he found out the name, post it up.
