Default Last minute fishing trip to Orange Beach

I have a last minute trip and will be fishing this weekend. I will trailer down my 22' Pathfinder. I have never fished there before, any advice? I'm pretty open and geared to do anything near or off shore within reason. Thanks in advance.

There’s a podcast called the Alabama saltwater fishing report. You may get some recent info there that will help. New shows are added on Thursdays. Good luck.

Lot of trash fish this time of year (spanish, lady fish, etc). Small trout are still here. Havent caught a redfish on the lights in awhile.

I'd troll the beach for spanish and kings personally.

I'm thinking about going down there too but I'm keeping an eye on the weather. It's showing 1' at 4 seconds but 15-18 mph winds , I figure it's going to be a little bumpy

You can run down the ICW to mobile bay and try your luck around the buoys and crab nets for triple tail. The hotter the weather the better.
