probably.......i havent missed one in 10 years. but i have to work friday and have all 3 kids saturday so we might be trolling for spanish. Weather looks good tho

I'll be out there! Going to try for some mangroves, maybe some kings or Spanish, and hopefully some fat croakers!

We will be in OBA for the week and plan on heading South out of Perdido pass.

Just need some legal fish to weigh. Not sure what we are even going to shoot for yet.

Ran all the way to Who Dat . In total ran 490 miles over 3 days and ended up with Most Unusual winner...
Porcupine fish...Weighed in at a whopping .6 lbs!!!
I thought it was just a puffer fish but one our guys wanted to weigh it in and discovered it was rare I guess...
Caught a bunch of different fish and a bunch of Scamp but nothing to Bragg about this year..
Just had a good trip and am DAM glad it's over!!!
Maybe next year...

3 of us on the boat weighed in some really good mangroves. One ended up first place and we also have 2 daily prizes with the biggest mangroves weighed in. Was a long 2 days of fishing, but was worth it this year!

I feel your pain. We went for white meat on Friday and wore out the scamp up to 10 lbs a long tailed sea bass and a very nice strawberry grouper but nothing better. Then we left out Sat morning and ran out to the whodat area, found the rip and caught tons of 8 to 17 lb mahi. Then as the weather picked up we decided to split the distance and ran to Ram Powell. I was very bummed about that decision until we got there and it was loaded with fish! We could've sunk the boat (or ten boats) with 40 to 50 lb schoolies. We saw a handful of big yellowfin and two boats released small (250ish) blues and we missed one as well that charged the spread. All in all we relaxed and had fun, fish a 37 Invincible cat with quad 400's and a full tower and it was a great time! That boat is a beast!! We also played on a Nor-Tech 392 with quad 450 mercs and passed Ft Morgan at 84 mph! That was a fun ride as well but that Invincible is a whole different level!

That's awesome! We went looking for Mangroves with about 300 pinfish in the livewell on Friday and it looks like they wanted croakers instead of pinfish :-( great job on the first place fish!!

Thanks! And we had a mixture of live bait. The croakers were definitely the favorite over the pin fish
