Default grand isle restaurants

I am taking a mid week trip to grand isle next week . Are there any restaurants open for dinner ? If so where is a decent place? I am assuming this covid thing hasn't stopped the summer crowds there . thanks in advance

Default Been a while

Been a while since I've was there. Restaurants all up the road. Google map from the marina west and call and ask. Miss that place. Like fishing from there better than venice.

Hurricane hole is about the only decent place down there. MeMaws in Golden Meadow is pretty decent too if you are up that way
Also you can try Lips Bar & Grill in Port Fourchon, in the curve going to the marina. If he is open he has some good shrimp and ice cream

Pre-Katrina the blackened reddish at Cigars Marina was the best dish in LA. RiP Cigars.

Definitely go to the Hurricane Hole, yes tuna tacos are a must but everything else there is really good. Our friends run the restaurant and they also own Yum’s. Both have really good food. Yums has awesome muffulettas. Sand Dollar has really good burgers. Fourchon has Morans and Leeville has Leeville Seafood, both of these have really good food as well. Hope you enjoy our piece of paradise. Oh if you want boiled seafood, Carmadelles is the only place I know of that has it.

If you go to the Hurricane Hole, be there at around 4:45 for a seat. They are limited on seating and fill up quickly. We got there at 4:35 last weekend and had to wait in line but it’s so worth it.

Gmack, yes Leeville Seafood is still open. Mrs. Sue still runs it. Her daughter in law, Donna, opened Cheramie’s in Cut Off on Hwy.1. She has the same food but also has many more items than Leeville. Both are really good.

Bad service at the Hurricane Hole every time we went. The Lighthouse is hard to beat, even though it doesn't look like much. We go there a lot and do cook your catch, we bring in 3 bags of fish and get one blackened, one grilled, and one fried. they bring the fish out and you eat family style it comes with a salad, side, and a drink for pretty cheap. We do that a lot if we don't feel like cooking or don't have time. If you want to go to Fourchon, Chris Moran's restaurant is better and they do the same thing with cook your catch also.

It's still open and I was told it's the cat's meow... We went 3 times. The first time it was great, second was very good, and the third time I had the flounder... it was not flounder. I haven't been back since.

I like Jo-Bobs for a quick and cheap lunch. Their burgers and fried chicken are solid.

Star Fish is decent for dinner although their service can be hit or miss at times.

We ate lunch at bridgeside , star fish and jo bobs . They were all ok at best . Hurricane hole had a parking lot full so we decided to go elsewhere that night . The fishing was great so i couldn't get my son off the water for an early dinner . All in all had a great time. thanks to all for the suggestions .
