The whole village is gated with security guards. I can't help with the golf cart inquiry

Yes, it is a gated dock in a gated community, golf cart friendly with 3 golf courses on property and an entertainment center at the wharf all within walking distance. Beach, grocery, liquor store, and probably 2 dozen restaurants are within carting distance without touching the highway. Check out , Bijoux, Cantina Laredo, and Emerils for good eats.

If you are leaving your boat in the water there be sure to confirm with the marina which pier you will be on. The last time we stayed there, a couple years ago, we were put at the secondary pier which is close to the facility main entrance. This required us to have transportation available to get back to our room. Not a big deal but something to think about. Additionally the pelicans REALLY like that pier if catch my drift. The place is great and this isn’t a big deal but just be sure to ask.

Ive launched at Lion Park a few times and you wouldn't have any problem with your 35. Finding a place to leave your trailer for multiple days is a different story.....
