I'm with ya' on that but when you look at the numbers of people and tourists that run that section of river a lot of them have no idea that the ramp is there. Think of the weekend warriors putting in at BL or Hub Staceys running to Florabama, Pirates cove or Robinson Island. If it's such an issue, petition to get it a no wake zone.

Everything in OB needs to be a no wake zone, far too many people have no clue what they are doing when running a boat. Slow everyone down so they can enjoy the water.

You can't be serious. If you are must be a sailboater.

Like I said, to me its only an issue with the big cruisers or sportfish boats. I don't think its too bad with normal boat traffic

It is not a huge problem anywhere in OBA usually except for big weekends and that part of ole river hopefully never and doesn't need to be come a no wake zone. It is courtesy to slow down when passing a launch and someone is actively launching or retrieving a boat. People need to slow down in OBA but doesnt need to be a no wake zone

hell no. It’s already too bad. They’ve about ruined the area with it.

I keep my boat in dry stack at Holiday Harbor Marina in Perdido Key and go through OB pass all the time, but never noticed the ramp until last week. Guess I never noticed because my head is always on a swivel watching out for the rentals

It takes long enough to get anywhere already, you need to tie up your boat properly along that stretch of old river or you will get beat up.

Its not very big. It is a two slip ramp on the south side of the Island where the water tower is. It is easy to miss.
