We're thinking about doing the same Saturday. Fishing twc but not sure if we want to burn a couple of our days with it being a toss up like this.

Wondering if there's really enough of a window for it to calm down?

Wish I wasn't stuck out here on Mars until the morning of the 12th. I might be up for Thursday the 13th if the weather is good. Drove my truck down so I don't have a flight to catch but I didn't bring any gear down.

Man Fri-Sun they were everywhere slamming the baitfish like crazy. Expecially at nite. Saw a few boats out here Sat-Mon looked like they were doin pretty good. I can't believe one came out yesterday it was pretty rough. They were over around Olympus second half of the day. To far to see if they were doin any good.

Its angry.....Very angry. It should start settling down by this afternoon they say. We're at 6'-10' right now with occasional 15'. We were 20' last night so it's getting better.

Looking better. Just had a boat make it out to Olympus. Looked a little rough but they made it. They didn't stay long.

Well it was going great until my buddy decided to slam the boat in reverse with three chunk lines in the water. You probably saw me peeling 100 feet of mono off my prop for an hour beside the rig. Did manage 2 yellowfin off of jt

That's what it took for me to change from keeping the engines running the whole time, there's always a saboteur on my boat. The new trick is getting lines in the trolling motor prop. Getting to the lines before they just cut them is the trick.
