Default Marine weather forecast.

What weather apps do you use for the most accurate information,as in wave height, winds and weather conditions in general, for planning your trips in advance?

Ugh..wish you could count on just one.
past few seasons: NOAA, WeatherUnderground and actual buoy data - if you're lucky enough to have 1 actually transmitting within 50 miles of where you plan to be.

Got one that's been extremely accurate for the past couple of years, even out 7 days...
But if I tell ya'll I won't be all alone on those few days a winter we get...

If none of the them agree on forecast, it will be the worst of the three
If two of the three agree on forecast, it will be the worst of the three
If they all agree on forecast, it will be worst then forecasted
Usually compare them all to actual live buoy readings 1-2 days before trip to see out of them who is getting it correct at that time. Good chance they will have the most accurate forecast when time to fish.
None of them are better then the others, all of them have about a 50/50 record.

I've never seen anything more accurate than Reefcast, but that may be because they average a bunch of forecasts I think?

I have to agree on Windfinder. Where I live there are no buoys, and we're pummeled by the trade winds. However, windfinder shows when the stray low pressure is in the area and will knock down the trades from >20 to <10. And then we can go do some fun stuff we usually can't.
