I'm trying to execute another one of my bad ideas....need 6 - 8 sheets of Foamular 400/600 in either the 2" or 3" thickness. Most HD's carry the scored Foamular 150 but I cant find the heavier stuff to save my azz, anyone have a lead on some or know of a retail source ??

if you have a local non-chain hardware store check and see if they can order it for you.

Thanks for the idea, you'd think anything that could be bought would be pretty easy to find in the greater Houston area but this stuff is rarer than baby seal sushi.

Gonna tell us what the bad idea is Mr. J..???
Soft or Rigid?
We've gotten the soft up in the northeast before from ULine- (White-if you don't care if it's pink or not) for a Turbine job.
I'm sure they'd ship to your house.

Some hard stuff here on a quick google...
Owen's Rigid 703
helluva lot pricier than the soft stuff, but also 4" thick

Rigidish - I need extruded polystyrene foam...and some half inch ply, epoxy and 10 oz glass.

Think augmented/embellished solo skiff. And tell your old man hello for me

Blue Fury likes this.

Kudos- I'd be headed to Costco for the $200 easy route on that one.
Dad will be here in about 30 mins to watch the kids for a couple weeks- I'll pass it along.
Pics when you get it done.
