Anyone planning on fishing the Rodeo next week? It will be the first time for my brother and I. Looking to enter king fish and Snapper categories but plan on fishing for whatever we can depending on how far we can get out with weather. We will be in a 22 footer but regularly head out 50 miles as long a weather is good. Should be interesting to see what happens after the storm. Maybe we will get some more blue water in the area. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Or just some good ole stories and BS?

the weather is usually rough as balls, it would be pretty weird for the rodeo to be calm

If we can change the water impeller Thursday afternoon when I arrive we will be out there Friday at 4 am,(was supposed to do that this weekend but Barry had other plans). We will be in light blue key west 219 FS w/ 200 suzuki, plan on running out to edge Friday, with some extra gas on board. Looking forward to some time on the water! Good Luck to you as well Kman and all others. Say hello if you see us around. What channel is good to hail everyone on? Would be nice to get a radar update from anyone out there equipped.
