Default New OBA Boat ramp?

Anybody heard anything about the new Orange Beach boat ramp that supposed to be built on the north side of the toll bridge? I thought it supposed to have it done by 2019 but have not seen any progress

I think you may be mixing projects. They have had two that were to be done this year (2019). Fish river which started on May 13 and Boggy point which is finished. The big project which the Mayor of Orange Beach accused Baldwin County of "playing politics". was announced in May 2018, but all they had was a concept and an agreement in principle to purchase the land. I doubt on a project that massive you could, get all the funding in place, purchase the land, get the engineering and permitting (ACOE) done and the project bid in less than 18 months much less get it built. Assuming it is going forward you are probably still looking at a couple more years IMO. I have not heard/read anymore since the original announcement.

I read at one time where they were going to build one a tad bit down and across the ICW from the old Tacky Jacks.

North side of the toll bridge won't be in Orange Beach.... Amazingly, it came up right before county elections and we haven't heard a word about it since.

Actually it is in OBA (See Link Below) Part of why there was the pissing match and name calling between the Mayor and the County Commission.

Thank god tony dropped the push for the new launch by the ono bridge. That would have been a nightmare to put it there.

Brain dead. Totally forgot that was in the City. Maybe if I could get moved down there full time, I'd remember stuff like this!!

Went passed the site Saturday morning and there's still nothing there. Imagine that. Did see some damn fine yachts at the Wharf when we passed though.
