Looks like the river is really starting to push some poo water out. 50 mile run to blue water from SW pass?

Yep gonna need a big fuel tank once it gets out past mars/titan area which it is going to. Maybe some blue water will push in from the east looks like its croaker and porgies for us in the foreseeable future white meat freezes better anyhow.

Water is green at Thunder Horse. There was a boat out here yesterday and one today fishing. The boat yesterday did pull in a tuna that I saw. The boat today stayed for a few hours, but I did not see any fish being pulled into the boat. I was not standing at the handrail watching them the whole time, so its possible they did catch something today.

Blue is blue. Green is green. Dark red is chocolate milk. Yellow and orange is in between. Sorta

I love the fact that there are people out there who think that if the water isn't blue, you're not catching tuna in it....

Definitely right but not as good of a shot for other pelagics but there is always the exception as there is blue water underneath especially in the summer months when the tuna are generally further offshore. Unlike the winter Jmo

its all about stacking the odds in your favor. This is just one of many tools in finding a good shot while your still sitting on land.

Thunder Horse is back in the blue today. Figured I'd share since the satellite shots will be jacked up with cloud cover.

Just made my rounds and there is a blue to green rip with lots of grass just north of Thunder Horse. It's a lil sporty this morning with 4's @ 4 secs and white caps as far as I can see with this north wind. I'll try to get a pic of the rip if it passes through.

I thought about taking the fast rescue craft and bringing a hand line with me

I got busy and before I knew it, the rip passed through. It's heading south at a pretty good clip. Not the best picture using zoom on a camera in an explosion proof case. I know the water all looks blue in the picture, but there was a definitely a good color change. Note all the white caps on the other side, compared to the near side.

Never looked. It works directly from the chrome app if you save it as a favorite. If you touch the date, it will open 3 wheels so you can change the date. Pinch to zoom, etc. just like everything else.

Lots of grass came through the field today. That big patch is heading towards Devils Tower. It's not moving very fast, because it was within sight all day. Probably my last update. Going home tomorrow.
