Default Wellcraft Coastal WA 25’ help

I am looking at a 2003 Wellcraft Coastal Tournament 25’ WA with 250 2 stroke Yamaha with <400 hours, boat is reportedly in excellent condition includes hard top and trailer older electronics. Does anyone have any opinions on this boat good or bad and approx value. Thanks

Get a survey. Wellcrafts are known to be wet.

Default Wellcraft Coastal

Salmonbum sounds like this brand-model has historical problems of being wet and I should stay away from. I currently have a wet 2000 Sportscraft 261 (purchased new) don't need another wet boat. I am in no rush at this time but I am interested in a used 23' to 25' WA preferably an outboard mainly Lake St. Clair usage for perch and walleye and occasionally Erie. Any suggestions of boat in the Great Lakes area that don't break the bank and have a good history. I do intend on a survey before I make any purchase, even had my new Sportscraft surveyed before purchase. 261 still runs good just now a displacement hull instead of a planing hull with no resale.
