Default Anyone fish on the shoals and reefs in the islands area for spring walleye?

I have fished the spring walleye run on the lake for many years, the best place I have found is straight out of Locust Point. I have fished Toussaint also and done well. These are both long runs from East Harbor but I don't recall hearing about good spring fishing on the reefs and shoals in the islands area. The structure is the same as Niagara Reef out of Locust Point so why isn't the islands area as good? Has anyone done well on Kelley's Shoal or Gull Shoal? I fish Scotts Point late in the spring after the spawn and have done very well but I have never caught much there during the walleye run.
