Default Garmin531s

Can I hookup the Garmin GFS10 Fuel Sensor to a Garmin 531s chartploter? I know the 531 can not be networked. Thank you

The 531s does not support NMEA 2000 and uses CanNet.

Here is the link to Garmin website for the GFS10

You will notice that on that page, it says:
Note: GPSMAP® 4xx and 5xx series CANet compatible units require a CANet kit to complete the connection. The GFS 10 does not work with diesel engines.

GFS 10 is a NMEA 2000 component. It will work but you need to to convert NMEA 2000 to CANNET. The packages comes with:

GFS 10
Mounting hardware
Fuel filter
4 reusable stainless steel hose clamps
NMEA 2000 to CANet adapter cable
NMEA 2000 T connector
