25’ Bertram twin 165 mercrusiers, alpha 1 ratio 1:65
wot port-3950 rpms ( counter rotating)
Starboard-4110 rpms
max speed is 28knots
Aluminun 4 blade 15x16

looking to maybe go stainless. I’m looking for cruising speed and fuel consumption. I don’t need top end speed. What would you recommend? 3 blade or 4 blade would work. Thankyou

Probably it will be a good idea to try a Mercury Mirage Plus 15 3/4 x 15. I have tried these in very similar set ups, with good results. If still interested in a 4 blade option, the Powertech OFS4R 15 or 16 would be a good start.

Thanks for getting back to me. Before I put the counter rotation on I was running aluminum black diamond 3 blade 14.5x17, wouldn’t the 15 3/4x15 prop you recommend be too small?

The Diameter of the propeller will make a big difference carrying the weight and cutting slip. We have both sets in stock as demo propellers, 15 3/4 x 15 and 15 1/2 x 17. You can try them both ans decide which one is better.
