One of the issues that kept coming back was how to fix the look of how the cap met the hull. From a structural perspective, all the interior wood was removed, inserted super high density foam and high quality epoxy adhesive and the bonded the two pieces with 3 layers of boa le 1704. On the outside we faired the two pieces with more adhesive epoxy. But there was still of a " 2 inch perusing duck bill around the outside joint. We eventually changed the lines by meeting the top deck with The outmost point of the top cap. It's a small difference, and a lot of work, but now when I look at I know it's right.
