It is just over $50.....$65 to be exact. Blantons is excellent.

Under $50 I like Bulleit.

My favorite so far is Old Knob Maple Bourbon. Love making an Old Fashioned with this!

Partial to bourbons...Michters, Blantons Gold when I like to go a little fancy. Knob Creek and Bulleit for just trying to hit the spot. Honestly though, you can pretty much take your pick on whatever is on the shelf at that price point unless you are looking for Costco sizes.

Ok guys, let's don't derail and repeat this thread Strictly Bourbon.... It stands on it's own. As per the question asked, I also like Four Roses.

For me, it's Henry McKenna. Runs around $35 and is a 10 year BIB single barrel from Heaven Hill. And it won 2 double gold medals at the SF Spirits Comp this year.

I don’t drink a ton of bourbon but my buddy turned me on the buffalo trace and it is quite good and very reasonably priced.

Same distillery where they make Pappy I think. I also heard Costco Bourbon is actually Buffalo Trace.

That and Bulleit are my two favorite modest price bourbons.

It is a bummer how good daily drinker vodkas are $15-20 a fifth and then bourbon of equal quality is about $35-45.

My favorites of the more common bourbons are Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve and Blantons.

The Strictly Bourbon thread in Dockside has a ton of info.

I'm always looking for something that has a black label and comes in a square bottle. Evan Williams is popular and less expensive than others that meet the bottle criteria.

No, seriously I've not even tasted whiskey since 1975. I only drink on vacation, and that's usually a few beers and a margarita or three. I did have a buddy that had a grandmother that was Lem Motlow's daughter.

Spend another $20 and get the 12 year The Macallans sherry oak cask. You will thank me later!
