Still make it on occasion. Four to five tabs of butter, sugar and cinnamon....in the broiler till sugar caramelizes

We grew up spreading peanut butter on toast and then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Just talked about it last weekend.

Never did it with peanut butter, but I'd mix up some sugar and cinnamon, make a couple slices of toast and load them down with butter. Then I'd keep sprinkling the cinnamon/sugar combo on until it would stop getting absorbed by the butter. Was probably 1/4" of cinnamon/sugar on top of the toast. Haven't made that in a LONG time!

most of my childhood was in the 70s (into early 80s) and i ate cinnamon toast 3-4 times per week! made it for my kids but they never took to it the way i did. i still make it occasionally for myself as a treat...but i generally avoid breads and sugars these days.

If the toast cooled and butter did not melt all the way, I put it back into toaster oven till it melts

This is funny, I have no idea the last time I made it but knocked out 4 pieces this am on a whim. As previously stated lots of butter makes it "juicy"

Do I like cinnamon toast? Is a pigs butt pork? I love the stuff but the wife rags on me because of the amount of butter I use.
My grams would use leftover pie crust dough rolled out and load it with butter, sugar and cinnamon then roll it up and bake it. Ah, for the old days.

Yep, still make it for my grandkids. Also, cheese toast topped with brown sugar and cinnamon. Love both of them.

I make cinnamon pancakes! Just add to batter.
And Cinnamon Toast Crunch grind up a handful and put it in instant oatmeal.
I got my Niece and Nephew hooked on this when they came to visit a couple summers ago.
