Default Shirred Eggs

Shirred eggs, you will never eat eggs another way again.
Line bottom and sides of a buttered ramekin with prosciutto, then add some asparagus

I used white asparagus in a jar from Aldi

crack two eggs gently on top of the asparagus then add two tablespoons of heavy cream, one over each egg coating it completely. Salt and pepper to taste.

Bake at 350 until the whites are set and yellow is still soft. Time will vary from appliance to appliance, just keep close watch on the first batch so you will know. When the whites are just done you can add cheese to the ramikins. I used Havarti but any cheese of your choice will work.

It does look great, but eggs are a side to my grits and bacon. That's an entrée.
