Default Florida quality service for new canvas top, welding rocket launchers, powder coating

I need to get a new canvas top for my Intrepid 323 Cuddy and a few other things. The original top is splitting at the seams. While it is being done, I was going to get rocket launchers welded to the arch (mine has none) and also get outriggers installed. This will necessitate pulling the whole radar arch, doing this, powder coating, and reinstalling.

There is essentially no way to get this done in South Carolina in less than probably 4 months. The marine service is absolutely horrible here - good quality guys but NOTHING can be done timely. The last few times I have had something major done to my boat, I have been without it for 2-3 months and it looked like it was used in combat missions when I got it back. I am looking for a recommendation on anyone in South Florida yard wise that could get this done within a few weeks. I am more concerned about quality than cost. I would ship the boat down there b/c it will never get done here.

Any recommendations?

it would skip the powder coating or do a line x in place of powder coating. the powder coat will look nice for the first 3-4 years, then start to look like shit!

There are at least 2 members on THT who come from the Powder Coating industry with extensive experience in the business and neither of them have any powder coating on their boats nor recommend it.

I can’t say enough about Travis and Quality T-tops. He just had my Intrepid for 6-7 weeks. They pulled the hard top, reworked and refurbished the top, painted the bottom of the top, removed the bow rail, grab rails, rod holders and helm seat legs, blasted it all down, powder coated and reinstalled including the designing and rigging of all wiring for electronics. They also reworked the glass on my hard top and installed new red/green nav lights which are countersunk into the top, and removed/reglassed the area on the sides of my cabin. Much nicer to have the lights higher up at night. If you want to see before.after pics, just let me know.
