For seadek the best show in town is castaway customs. Aquatraction is a nice option as well and they have a south Florida installer named All Water Customs.

i used xact customs. They did a good job but could have been better in communicating and trying to get exactly what i wanted for my foot rest design.

I recently signed a contract with Xact Customs (Frank) to do an install of ReflexPLUS on my boat. I didn’t shop around for price comparison, but had a general idea of what it should cost thru friends advice. Xact was very reasonable 👍

The reason I signed right away with Frank was because I not only liked the material quality & his design ideas, but because he answered all my questions of concern honestly.

So far Frank from Xact (Miami area) has been very reachable by phone & accommodating with regard to my schedule. His installers are supposed to come next week to template the boat and I’m very excited to see the finished product!

If you would like, send me a PM and I will forward you his contact info. Definitely worth giving him shot at the job 👍👍👍

I don’t recall the “sq ft price”, asI think the pricing is based on how many full sheets are needed to complete the project.

My boat is a 23’ Steiger Craft pilot house with a closed transom (engine on bracket). To do the full cockpit area, wheelhouse deck, top of two onboard coolers and two separate graphics (boat name at helm & compass rose design in center of cockpit) was $2,900 with tax.

Ken Gray at Dek - Tec Marine.

He came out measure my boat to do it after I'm done touching up the interior but he has done about 4-5 of my buddies boat and he does great work.

We spent about an hour on top of my boat talking when he came. Really nice guy!

PM sent!

Frank is a very nice guy & a non-pressure salesman. He’s definitely worth speaking with about your project.

I forgot the name of the kid that they sent out to do mine in August of last year but I remember saying he was new but leaving soon. Pretty big job on my boat. He did a good job sketching it, but I had to help him install it. The pieces were just too big for one person to try to get down correctly.

Other than that I was happy.

I have said that a few times after similar experiences, pain in the neck to get product and or answers.

2 weeks ago I again needed some work done and reached out to Castaway’s rep for Key west and zero reply as of yet...

I know many rave about them but I am done trying to give them $$$

I’ve heard that but personally I’ve never had an issue. They both returned my calls and answered my questions pretty fast. Granted the first go around I was talking about having an entire boat done ( never did since she sank) and the second time it was through my builder which I know does high volume with them.

Bottom line they do the best installs around. My buddy had Marine Mat installed by Marine Mat and it was not up to my standards.
