Default Boat ramp in Islamorada with a wash down station?

Looking for a boat ramp in or near Islamorada with a wash down station. Any suggestions? Tried Founders park/plantation yacht harbor but they've removed theirs. 17 ft boat. Thank you!

Good luck with that.

Probably worth investing in a pump sprayer thats filled with freshwater. Dunk the boat and hose down the trailer when your done.

I've been hearing the same thing everywhere. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try Angler's House Marina in the morning, I think they're $30 also just like Founders.

Have you checked Sea Bird in Layton? A few miles south.

I’ve lunched there, just can’t recall if they have a wash down.

Where do you store the boat? They don't have a hose?

You can try the Caribbean club, the have a hose by the ramp that you can “rinse” quickly at. The crowd there can be a bit rough depending on the day and time. It’s $10 to launch and $10 to park w trailer

Edit - left Angler House a message and spoke with Sea Bird Marina. Sea Bird Marina does not have a wash down, dockmaster said water company won't allow it. $20 same day in/out.

Keeping the boat at Islamarine Skiff Specialists, they store the boat in their locked storage for $25/day. Thanks for the recommendation on Caribbean Club, figure that's the backup if nothing else.

Water is expensive in the Keys so if you find a freshwater washdown hose near a public ramp you will have found a unicorn.

Apparently! Have access to a condo down there from Jan-May, and every year I am amazed how hard it is to find a ramp with a freshwater washdown. Figured give it another shot this year. Unfortunately, the condo we have access to won't allow any trailers on the property even if just to wash the boat down for a bit... so the search carries on.

Any Islamorada THT members want to make a quick buck or I'll give you a 6 pack, just rent out your driveway and hose for 20 minutes?

Well, heard back from Angler House Marina... they're a no go. To quote them "Sorry, We are a private marina and don’t have availability." Dockmaster at Founder's said there is a self service car wash around mile marker 99 guess that's the best/only option down here. ;?
