market check - appx price for heavy compound / wax in south florida
Hi all - want to check quickly, what is the going rate for a heavy compound / wax for the hull-sides of a center console? Just need an approximate number. Oxidized yes but doesn't need wet sand. Any guidance is appreciated, looking for a $ / foot metric.
$15 is a great price, I paid around $1000 to have a 38 with heavy oxidation compounded and waxed, and interior of the boat cleaned (interior was probably $250-$300 of that)

I even offer ceramic coating at a discounted price on top of that 😳
Disclaimer: if the gelcoat is extremely oxidized it may be higher
Thanks guys. Its a normal 25 foot cc, a Dusky - not a bayboat. Last question - does $15/ft include materials? Just waterline to rubrail.
That’s just my price of course but it does include material unless otherwise stated. If I see it requires more product than usual I may charge $20-30 extra.
