Default Looking for a house/condo with marina and trailer parking in the Keys

Friends, I have a 28 Parker in Clearwater looking to make a trip to the Keys in mid-May. We have been fishing in the Keys since I was a little kid aboard just about every headboat south of Ft Lauderdale. We now have the opportunity to bring our own boat down and do our thing. Ill be bringing my father, and his two cousins so 4 total in our party.

Im looking for lodging recommendations somewhere between MM88 and MM47.5. Ideally Id like a house on a channel with easy access to the Atlantic. Id also like a place to park truck and trailer. We would be staying a week. Also would like to keep it under $275/night. Any suggestions would be great as we are very excited to do this for the first time. Attached is my truck, fish harvester, and undersized trailer

Thank you!

If you want to go further west, try Venture Out on Cudjoe, Lots of VRBO homes, with a marina, fuel, trailer parking and docks behind most homes

venture out

How about a 3 bed room 3 bath in Key Colony Beach? Mile marker 53.5, canal with super easy quick access to the Atlantic and the Gulf. 280 11th Street Key Colony Beach. Discounted rates for friends of The Hull Truth. Here is the link https://rentalsfloridakeys.com/view-...A908/#image-30
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

You definitely don't want to venture west of 47.5? We had a great time at Parmer's resort on Little Torch. They have great condos for rent with boat docks out front and some longer docks in the canal behind. Easy ramp nearby, trailer parking across the street and really nice people. Not quite in your geographic range but not far off and maybe worth a look.

Default Kawama Yacht Club

We stay at Kawama Yacht Club in Key Largo every summer for a week. Nice 3/3 townhomes for about $1,500 per week. Several pools on site, gated, trailer parking, marina (slip rental separate and usually with a different owner) and on-site boat ramp. I I would caution you that the ramp is pretty much worthless except at high tide due to a bumper at the end that won't let you back in very far. You can look at Kawama units on VRBO. Marina located ocean side just a few miles north of cut at Tavernier.

I also have a unit in Key colony beach with Cabana club Membership. 2/2 wide open layout, 1309 sq ft. Sleeps 6 and has immediate access to both oceans with incredible fishing and several sandbars to hang out. Even if you do not choose my unit, I highly suggest renting in Key Colony beach with a unit that has club Membership. Only place in the keys that you can bar hop (4 restaurants) in your own neighborhood by foot, has a sand beach with waiters that will serve you food and drinks while you hang out by the sand with your family.

Since these pics I have upgraded a few items. The guest room now has 2 queen beds.

Thank you all for the recommendations! Im going to speak with my dad and see if he likes any. What should I do regarding GPS numbers? Looking for bottom fishing and a little bit of trolling.

Hire Piner_Wahoo for a day trip to learn where to go. If not, just hit the patch reefs/ledge and look for structure. Trolling for dolphin I listen to the fishing reports for depth and find the gulfstream. It can get pretty windy and rough in May though. Good luck!
