We take the boat over every summer but have a tough decision this year… we’re thinking about maybe doing the Exuma‘s instead, or maybe try to do both by boat. Either way, we will be in Abaco a couple of times this summer just not sure which way we’re going to take the boat, east or southeast.

If we get a window we are going to make a run from PBI to the Abacos for Spring Break, 3/23-3/30. The plan is to clear customs and overnight in West End and run to GTC in the morning. It's our first trip and we've been given the advice to wait until we confirm a weather window to book an AirBNB or VRBO.
We're going in a 2011 Everglades 325CC with twin 350's. I have the Guide to the Abacos, done a ton of reading on here as well as conversations with friends who have made the trip. Hoping to find someone to cross with Sat/Sun/Mon although that time of year is going to certainly going take a little luck with the weather. We are prepared to leave the boat in West End if necessary on the return and fly back. It's two families, with 4 kids ranging from 8-13. I would appreciate any recommendations on places to stay and general trip advice.

it has been windy and quite a bit of rain.

What size boat? Not judging just curious. We’ve talked about doing Harbour Island or further south to change up from Abacos.
That said...
March 23-30 Elbow Cay
May 25-June 1 Elbow Cay
