Crossed yesterday, the 16th, from Fort Pierce. Crossing was brutal. Not huge but stacked 3 to 4’s, worse when in the blinding rain storms that we couldn’t get around. Good news was no lightning. Took 8 hours to Spanish. Customs was quick and painless but they charged us 56 to clear, maybe because they were out of gas.

27’ Sea Hunt, 33’ Hydrasport, possible other boat. 35-40 cruise. Check in at WE to play it safe from what I’m reading. Honestly it’s my preferred anyway. Enjoying a nice VRBO this time.
GL to you all crossing/there in the current crap fest out there. Still beats being at work.

Waited for all of last week's storms to dissipate and headed over from Govt. Cut on Wednesday 19th at 9am. Ran 3 hours @ 30mph in "One & All" (2007 Edgewater 245cc). Following seas, wind from the South in our backs and helped by the Gulf Stream of course. Comfortable ride (dry) in 2 to 3 feet. Stayed at BMC with my son and we thought it was very good. Joe and his team run a tight operation the Bluewater crowd were there for their long weekend. Good group and met some nice people. Fuel is expensive and although they have a new tank and pumps, it's the same fuel supplier as the one who supplies OBB at West End. In hindsight I paid too much - $6.19 / gallon (including tax) for gas hurts. I pay $4.55 at Haulover.
Deep dropping in front of BMC was excellent. 1400 feet - 3's and 4's at a time (Queenies + Wenchman). All a decent size. Lot of small fish on the reefs in 80 to 90 feet and we missed out on the muttons. Unfortunately, the offshore fishing was awful on 19th / 20th / 21st. No weed, no birds, no tuna or dolphin. 1 out of 20 boats caugt a dolphin on the 20th. Another boat in the Bluewater group found the birds on the 20th and caught a number of decent sized BF's. No Yellowfin though.
Ran 25 miles SSE of BMC on the 21st in search of the YF's - but no birds and zero weed anywhere. Middle of the channel at a "proven area". Chunked "blind" for 3 hours with 65lbs of bait and chum blocks. Result was ZERO!! 1 shark came window shopping and cut me off, but otherwise it was DEAD! Really disappointing. We then made the run back to West End to "check out" and ran 35mph back to Haulover Marina in 2 hours 45 mins @ 4500rpm for 1.9mpg. Good 3 day trip......but we were probably too close to the full moon this trip.
Would like to hear when anyone finds the YF's.

We're here now, heading back to the States tomorrow. There are still a good amount of people here, but not as many as there were for the Cheeseburger party.
But what is crazy is the new bar on No Name with the pigs. They opened up 4 days ago. There was absolutely nothing there last summer.

Cheeseburger was crazy for sure but was pretty organized if you actually went there for the cheeseburger. Midnight express w 5 400’s full of 30 deaf people, jet skis w no idea, and then everybody else. Bar on no name is pretty nice, surprised it took so long. Weather was rough getting there and getting back. We left Treasure this morning and are staying at west end tonight before heading back to palm beach. We had a Great week and can’t wait until next summer.. I really didn’t think it was too bad with the number of people being there.

I've not seen construction so quick here in the states, and for them to do such fast work on a little remote island I thought was amazing for sure.

We got caught at No Name in a storm on June 23rd and went inside the building to ride it out. Talked with the foreman on the job at length and he also gave us a two penny tour. It was amazing how fast that place was coming together. He said they started in April. When we were there they had half the roof on over the bar area, everything was being painted as they went, the gift shop part was mostly done. Kitchen being the bar was coming together.

Gives me hope for Walker’s 2020!
It will be interesting to see if there will be pork on the menu...

I’m here at Treasure now, weather has been awesome, arrived on the 4th and going back to Miami next Friday. Going to Pete’s Pub today. Just saw in their IG that they are roasting a pig today and will have a DJ. My goal is to get there early before all that. I always go to Pete’s to avoid the nippers scene

Nice! Did you guys go out of the cut at Pete’s and run the drop off up to Tillo Cut to come back in? I haven’t gone deep there but have picked up lots of YFT along that ridge.
