Default St Simons Island recommendations

Wife and I are headed to St Simons Island later this month and will be staying in the southern part. Looking for any recommendations as to restaurants, happy hours and/or bars, and things to do or see. Thanks!

The Village area by the pier is our favorite. Several shops and great places to eat. Couple of little hole in wall places have good breakfast. Barbara Jean's is a must stop.

Thanks, sounds like the Village area is the hot spot. Any other restaurant recommendations or things to do? Also, any good recommendations for a drink at sunset?

Also if your looking for GREAT BBQ, Southern Soul on the circle is the place to go. For pizza find Sal's you won't be disappointed.

For future reference, really enjoyed Southern Soul, Crabdaddy's, Brogens (for drinks), the Wharf (in Jekyll), and Iguana's. Sea Turtle hospital was also a good way to kill time in Jekyll Island and also visited Driftwood Beach while there.
