Default Large Vacation Rental Needed

The family is looking to stay near home and rent a place on the west coast of FL this summer.. I have been looking at the typical sites ( VRBO, Air BnB etc) but cant seem to find what we are looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with a rental that would meet the following criteria?
  • West Coast Fl (S. Pinellas to Naples)
  • 7 Bedroom
  • Canal/waterfront with place to park 2 boats @ the dock
  • Pool
  • Available for 1 week summer 2019
  • Under $1,500 a night
We are a super quiet bunch that always leaves places cleaner than when we arrived.

Thanks in advance!

With the red tide fiasco last summer I would avoid the west coast. What about the keys? I know that doesn’t answer your question, but just a thought.

I live on the west coast of Florida and so does the majority of my family. Not going to let the fear of another red tide change our plans. I tried to convince everyone to do a keys trip but they weren't interested in driving the few extra hours.

We used to run a Friends and Family tournament out of here. Great place, we did it 10 years in a row. Multiple room choices from motel to houses. Not sure about pool. We had about a dozen boats/families that filled the place up for the weekend.

There is the Anheuser Busch Estate on the intercoastal in St. Pete Beach. I've never been or stayed but there are a number of different houses as a part of it that are vacation rentals.

I like that option but I know everyone wants to stay in the same house unfortunately.

I was going to suggest the Busch estate as well. Seems it would be perfect. Direct access to the Gulf. Across the street from the beach. Great bars and restaurants within walking and boating distance.
