Default Dry Dock Recommendations - Broward County

Our boat (29' Ocean Runner/Center Console) should be ready to get wet soon and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on dry docking locations in Broward County? I'm not that far and can trailer it, but the ease of Dry Docking sounds so much better.

I don't really want to play with tides, so anything with a low fixed-bridge is going to be a no.

I am a stones throw away from Harbor Town, but I've heard mixed emotions about it.

Anyhow, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the reply! Harbour was my first pick, but I might head up to the Hillsboro area if I can't find something decent. Looking at $600/month, not really wanting to go higher.

I kept my boat @ dusky marine when I was in the area. Kept it on a trailer and they had their own ramp.. It was very inexpensive compared to dry dock and I liked it better.

A brand new Ocean Runner might present some security concerns though..

The dania cuttoff canal has a few other places but fair warning that 40 minute ride to the inlet SUCKS!

I have a friend who is off the Dania cutoff, the ride does suck! But I am more inclined to steer away from this due to the low bridge. I don't want to play with tides. Picky I guess.

Albeit a 40min drive in the water is alot better than a 20min drive trailering a 29' to a crowded boat ramp...LOL!

If you don't want to spend more than $600.00 try Blue Point marina in Port Canaveral because from Dade to North of Fort Pierce their is no such decent place at that price.

agreed. $600 for a 29' isn't happening. The pompano dry docks are about $600 for a 23'.
