I like to back my wave runners down the ramp, but I’m not very good at backing a short trailer so that takes a while. Then I get out and load all my stuff on the wave runners. Then I back back down and try to start them up and drive them off, but I’m not deep enough. So eventually I back down a little farther and unload them. Then I go park and stop at the bathroom cause I have to pee by then. Then after I put on my sun screen I’m gone. I don’t know why you guys are complaining. In the words of Rodney King, can’t we just all get along.

Your feeble efforts will quake at my power . Like cholesterol clogging an artery my army will render your efforts fruitless as you stand idle feeling the freedom of your weekend repass ebbing away .

I agree. And I remember that being the reason the West side ramp was put in so I don't want to sound like a turd when I ask this but, who said so? Is there any signage saying so?

Its Bert Reynolds etiquette. West side has no bridges to contend with and since there is less parking on the west side its best to save it for the bigger boats that might have trouble fitting under the bridges. I would say 25+ use west side even though I always use the east side because i've been using it for a long time and feel comfortable with it and I can fit under the bridge even on high tides.

unforunatley no signage, but I sent an email asking why there isn't. On the official Jupiter Florida website. It does say it.

I have no dog in the fight since I run a low profile jon boat and use the east side anyway. But it would be nice to get a real sign up if it is causing that much hassle. I never thought about bridge clearance, either.

I'm just curious why don't you use the Indiantown ramp?

I fish at night a lot, and even my day trips start in the dark. Indiantown locks up at night, which would have been awesome to know BEFORE I fished until almost midnight one night.

I put in at Burt Reynolds from time to time. No signage that says such, but even as a non local it was obvious that the west side was for larger boats as the east side has a pretty low bridge to contend with.

While we're at it some signage for people to use the temp docking on the East side and let trucks take ramp priority would be helpful. And while I'm greedy some enforcement for the local ladies fishing from the temp docks while boats are trying to maneuver and tie up. There actually are signs for that.

those people fishing right next to the no fishing signs need to stop.

i launched on the 4th, I got there early because I'm playing with prop sizes, kayak was in the middle of the ramp no one around. Jet ski was having issues backing down on the other ramp. Kayaker comes out of bathroom, I give him a dirty look. He says sorry, I guess I shouldn't have left the yak in the middle of the ramp. I said, no it's a holiday the ramps are usually slow. He said really I thought it was be really busy?
I just don't understand people.

The dudes fishing by the no fishing sings on the east side needs to stop for sure. They usually are soliciting too. Had a few try to give me "detailing" cards. I usually try to cut in front of their lines to ward them off. "I'm friggin docking here!"

As far as the trucks taking ramp priority, I feel like its common sense. If there is a line of 10 trucks/trailers waiting to back down and you pull your boat into the slip at the ramp you have to wait 11th in line to retrieve your boat all while blocking 1 ramp. Common sense, if the trailer is on the ramp you get to pull your boat up to it, DONE.
