Default Paddling boarding from sands to fla, crossing for a cure

In six days time we will host “ paddle for cure. “ This event is bringing 150 people from as far way as Ireland, 40 power boats and 100 paddlers that will paddle back to florida leaving at 1 a.m. from the beach for the 15 hour journey. https://www.crossingforacure.com The daugher of Travis, Piper, pictured, has a life expectancy of 37 As are most children with cystic fybrosis . If you see Travis or Piper next week, be sure to say hello. Inwas with the team leaders a couplemdays ago in bimini. They saw a single engine 18’ center console and commented “ they came over in a single”? I said “ you are going back with none!” Puts things in perspective.

Sounds like they have enough buddy boats to deal with bad weather or other problems.

I admire the toughness of those who do it in a SUP. That would be one heck of a workout!
