We fished last saturday morning just south of Gov't and had 1 sail, 1 20lb king, 4 spanish macks and a nice mutton.

We fished yesterday out of Key Biscayne. Did good on Yellow Tails.

Went trolling out of govt cut, caught a few gaffers. No luck on wahoo. Then drifted some spots near key Biscayne and caught small muttons and surprisingly some yelloweyes

Let the dock right before 6am and headed out of Key Biscayne. Seas were calm and the weather was good all day. HST for Hoos proved to be unproductive with no strikes and spent a bit of time checking lures due to scattered weeds. Switched to rigged ballyhoos at around 10:30am hoping for some dolphins and nothing. Decided to drift and see if we could get hooked up on the bottom. Got sharked a couple of times, few cutoffs on top (likely macs) and a bunch of small strawberry groupers. Ended the day with a skippy.

All in all it was a great day to be out on the water, tons of people kite fishing and bottom fishing (still no current though).

Tight lines!

Wondering how conditions are out on the reef. Anyone been offshore this past week?

Monday is going to be the first good day. Sunday may be possible, but a little on the rough side.

Amazing!!! When I was 32 years old, I remember fishing for kingfish in 3 to 5 and it didn’t bother me much. Now I am 59 and 2 to 3 is the most I can take.

I hear what you are saying , i went to sleep one night 59 years old , when i woke up i was 79 , what happened, but still boating and fishing, most of my fishing is solo, out today two nice gaffers, fishing out of palm beach, used to make those 70 - 80 mile trips to the northeast canyons, this is a breeze down here. Good luck

Went out Monday and it was a gorgeous day. Unfortunately, there was no current and wind was blowing out of the west. Managed to bring home a few YT but it was tough.

Plan to go out tomorrow, does anyone know if the current has improved and at what depth? Thanks.

Very little current on Sat morning out of Haulover even out to 350' of water. 1/2 on sails from 65-110 ft of water. Lots of small flyers shallow.

Default Current report

Anyone been out this week that can report on conditions out on the reef? Looking for an update on current, bait, and weeds on the outer reef - out to 120’.

White caps in the bay, tomorrow is supposed to be 4-6 ft seas and blowing 30 knots!

It's supposed to calm down quite a bit after tomorrow's blow, but there'll be T-storms Th. and Fri. Lots of bait finally. Offshore fishing is excellent. Muttons and grouper are around on the bottom too.
