Birds and tuna were thick north of Isaacs last Friday! We got one nice YFT cut in half by the tax man. A bunch of BFT but we only kept 3. We left them biting because we were exhausted by cranking. Beautiful flat calm day.

Bring it with you, unless you have spent a lot of time there you will not find it.

Headed over tomorrow, want to give tuna fishing one last shot this season.

Any good reports on the yellows the last few days? It's been flat calm so I'm sure some of the lucky guys have gotten a chance at them before it turns into a parking lot this weekend.

We've had successful tuna trips well into August fishing for yellowfins in the Channel, no reason to think the season ends in early June.

I agree July and August have been good for us also.

Got 10 good ones to 60lbs last Friday deep in the channel. Sharks took the first 5 fish and didnt bother us after that. Left them biting. Mostly on chunks might have used 2 doz pilchards.
