Default Florida: CCA specialty redfish plate

Just a heads up to fellow Floridians. The redfish plate is gaining traction this legislative season. Finally, a specialty plate I would not hesitate to put on my car.

Yeah, I know, "Florida has tons of plates, why do we need another???!!! ::grumble, grumble, grumble::" We are going to keep adding specialty plates, might as well give the money to something that benefits the fishery we love here in FL. Plus, it's gonna be the best looking plate on FL roadways, hands down!

Nice....it goes along with the 150 other specialty plates that FL offers. Everyone can had their own.lol Only folks that fish for Reds will recognize that tail and the spot on it. Everyone else will be like why you got a fish tail on your license plate.

Nice looking plate. NC tried it with a pic that was weird. They needed 500 people to pre order. Don't think they made that. Program got cancelled.

I like that plate, but I'm not donating to CCA.

What's the issue with the cca? Really wondering as I thought they were good and see stickers everywhere.

I agreed with the vision of CCA years ago, but I don't think their direction and usage of funds has been in my best interest. I would rather donate to Captains for Clean Water until they get to big and top heavy.

I'm curious about this. I've heard a few others say something along these lines or that CCA is now filled with catch and release elitists.

What is your story/source?

My family has been part of fisheries meetings for over 30 years. I just have a different vision for my donations.
