Default Palm Beach Inlet fishing report thread

It would be great to get some up to date reports out of Palm Beach Inlet.

I'll start. Was out yesterday at sun up, blind trolled Islander/Ballyhoos south of the inlet to the Breakers and back up to the condo's between 200 and 400 feet. Picked up two decent dolphin about 8lbs each.

Great weather, fished about three hours.

43 pounds. 1800’ under frigate on downrigger.

I'll play. Fished Sat. had a handful of sail bites, 2 sharks, 1 wahoo.
Going this Fri. Will post report.

Fished Sunday, went 6 for 6 on sails on the kites, one triple, one double, one single.
Lost a couple mystery fish on deep bait, sails were all depths, from 90-200 feet, fished north of inlet

This should be a popular thread, I'm waiting on my new to me boat to get here after the 1st of the year but I am definitely sub'd for this one.

We needed one for up north - might we include Boynton in this one?

Fished last Saturday - went 4/4 on Sails - two doubles - in 115 and 125 just south of the LW pier.

Jupiter Report:

Monday=NOTHING
Tuesday=NOTHING
Wednesday=NOTHING [lost a mahi boatside 700ft]
Thursday-NOTHING

I think we need 1 that covers From Boca to West Palm, so all 3 Jetty's.

Fished Tuesday (12/19/17) out of Jupiter from around 11 am to 5 pm...
Trolled 180' - 500' depth... Caught 1 small black fin (200' around Juno) and 1 skip jack.

Thursday-monday small dolphin 200' trollin. Got a Cobia off a bull shark. Bonita tons
Friday- couple small Kings slow trollin, grouper snapper drift fishin
Saturday- small Kings
Tuesday- Dove the ledge at 149' got 12 bulls to the boat and we shot one cobia

Default whiff

Went out of boynton today from 8am-12. trolled skirted ballyhoo from 200-500 from inlet past lake worth pier. nary a nibble. rolled east to about 800, ran south and saw birds working some blackfin tuna busting the surface. proceeded to follow them for 40 minutes proving how safe they were in my presence as we got zero bites there either. Chunked, trolled and strolled right back towards the inlet to clean the boat. Great weather, was flat as it gets, but no fish dinner for daddy. i'll take a nice day off work doing that any day. Saw another at the ramp that said they also ran into some blackfin yesterday and also had the tuna repellent, same scenario and no bites either. Guess we should've waited till sunset and maybe they'd eat....

Anyone know where I can get live bait out of PB Inlet. Goggle eyes, pin fish, pilchards, anything?

Ch. 68 when you're near the inlet.
