Nice. How deep and what did she eat? We fished Saturday between 85-200 and mostly struck out.

good job. Saw that and the big bull along with the 62 lbs wahoo at the weigh in.

Went solo to 870ish. Big weed patches. Probably some further out where the sportys were but didn't go. Put a gig and greenie out. Gig was chased and taken, left me the hook. Greenie was chased and taken along with hook. Peanut but big enough. Only takers there. Came in shallow. Lost a gig to a king.

We didn’t even put out the spread until 20 miles. All but 1 fish hit a chugger. Clean water and caught everything off a long broken weedline. That’s where the #1 fish came from too.

Took some friends out fun fishing today. Loaded up on live ballyhoo, and filled the cooler with Bonita. They like em, but I'm not a fan... Probably sent them home with 70lbs of filets, and I've got strips on strips on strips. They were super thick in 130 feet. Caught in an afternoon storm, but got back safely. Also hooked a bunch of rainbow runners, and a few short muttons and amberjacks.

Had trouble closing the cooler at the end of the day. Great day on the water overall. Wish we'd found some better table fare, though.

Cut that bloodline out, and they make great blackened fish tacos or quesadillas!

Trolled between Palm Beach and Jupiter this morning with my wife . Ballyhoo with chugger skirts.

A couple bonita at first light and then two nice dolphin. Here's a picture of the bull I didn't weigh him but my fish box is 56 inches and he covered it easily. . The cow was a bit smaller. Then hooked one of the biggest ones that I've ever seen and couldn't get him to the boat before he pulled the hook., but really no regrets. Just East of the ledge, maybe 200ft. I was back at my dock before 10:30. Including a stop for fuel.

Very nice. A bunch of us are going to Jensen this weekend. Just need to swap out the vro and primer solenoid as both are cracked and leaking...
Guess I need to pull the cowl when on the muffs more often.

That fish would have won the KDW this year.

This past weekend I went out with my son to get bait and find some Mahi. We set up of the church North of Jup inlet (like everyone else)and my 10yo says, “ Dad, the bait is here, we are here, why wouldn’t the Mahi come here and eat the bait?”

Actually he made sense. So we rigged a vodoo mullet and set it a drift well off the stern while trying to Sabiki a few more runners. About ten mins goes by and we scored a decent female for the box. Not huge but not hard to find.

Out at 9ish and back inside by 10 am. One fresh fish for lunch caught in 30’ of water.

Smallys. Biggest was about 30 inches. Monday dolphin taste better than weekend dolphin, though, so it's a win in my book. All fish hit ballyhoo in front of blue/white & pink/white islanders.

Great going, the more time you put in the more quality fish you get a shot at!

I didn`t go outside. Wanted to shake down the repairs and carb adjustments. She has never run better in the 10 years I`ve had her.

Weather permitting, we will run out Friday for a couple of hours after work and Sunday is looking good.
Friday will be the ayfkm crew and hopefully Sunday will be the A team.

How is the bottom fishing? We are heading down this weekend and will be trolling for the most part, but wanted to know if worth hitting reefs as well. I normally fish Canaveral so all new area for me down here. Thanks

Don’t make trolling number one, too much weed. I fished Saturday trolled for 2.5 hours it was a waste of time. I went all the way out to 1000ft (5 mileshere) King seem to be biting in 90-120 ft (drop off) in the afternoon

Went Saturday, started around 1000ft straight out from PB inlet and got a nice blackfin then had some schoolies around. The weeds weren't bad at all, smaller mats here and there. Ran closer in to 500 or so, 3 miles north of Jupiter inlet and hooked a blue marlin on a gog down deep. Unfortunately, some idiot (me) had forgotten about a knot in the mono that occurred during the schoolie circus. The blue jumped 40 feet from the boat, Beautiful sight! Couldn't stop him, added drag, the line popped right where the forgotten knot was. It just doesn't pay to be the dumbest guy on your own boat.

The bonita bite was spectacular a little north of the pier in the usual spot if you're into that sort of thing and a pretty decent weed line running north of that.
