That is one soft tip rod u have there for trolling. Do you have any trouble getting the hook to dig in with that?

Saturday report.
The sharks are thicker and smarter.

They have also had more training by dive charters hand feeding them.

We wanted no part of the bug boat parade off Juno.
The kings were there and those folks are trying to make a living.

Some Grover Cleveland, Mutton, Rainbow Runner, Snake King, and Trigger fillets
followed us home.

Not a great catch, but a blue bell day on the church.

Dragged gogs all over the damn place from palm Beach to Jupiter in 150-200. Cut off several times by what I assume we're kings or sharks. Caught a trophy sized ramora. Had a great time on the water with gfdriscoll and it was a beautiful day out!

Looked nice on the webcam, how were the weeds? Scattered? Going solo tomorrow and wondering if its going to be possible to troll

Just got in from the water, weeds were scattered which will make trolling tough. Current was ripping over 4mph in 200ft

It was beautiful out. Scattered weeds between about 100-200(ish), and then clean outside 160. A few small mats around. Definitely trollable. My depth finder is down at the moment, so my numbers may be off a bit.

Constantly having to clear lines between Hillsboro & Boca from 300' out to 550'. One knockdown and did some deep dropping and a couple of tile fish saved the day.

Anyone have any swordfish reports? May start a new thread but not sure how much traction it would get.

Got a weehoo south of the inlet. Huge weed mats in 200 off Jupiter today. Thousands of tiny dolphin. Got one keeper, and a bunch of shorts. Ended the day with reef fishing. One keeper yellowtail, and a bunch of rainbow runners.

Beautiful day to be alive.

Ha! Nah. Just didn't get permission before posting. Didn't want to put my buddy out there without checking. Silly, I know, but that's how I roll.

All in, I probably only saw 6-8 boats actually fishing it. It was covered up in tiny tiny schooly dolphin. Probably nothing with much size under it. Best mat I've seen in a long while, though. I hope all those fish grow into beasts and hang around for a while.
