Iíve been subbed awhile, lurking in the back ground. I got my first boat this past summer, hydra-sport vector 2000. I launch out of Boynton Beach inlet. Any advise for a new guy? Iíve had no dinner fish luck so far.

id start a thread outside of this one in the FL section , add in target species, current tactics. Going with a captain or on a charter can save you some money when you are starting out.

Drifted dead gogs from lake worth pier to the breakers today. Caught a sea robin and a short mutton. Trolled south to avoid the afternoon storms. One knockdown that didn't come tight. Catching was awful, but fishing was good.

Trolled Sunday morning out of boynton. Planers with strips. Didnít get touched. Weeds made it pretty frustrating so decided to swim. Sheepshead were thick on rock piles from 15-30í. Shot a few for dinner and called it. Nice and flat. Hoping it holds for a few days.

HMM same here... 00000% experience deep dropping in the WPB/ Jupiter area, but I got the rod for it and I love tiles! Any specific bearing out of the inlet you are willing to share....?

TIA

Since Sunday was the best weather day to fish in a month, I decided to do some outboard maintenance smdh. However my new next door neighbor caught one rat Sunday early AM and picked up a 24lb wahoo off loran HST.

Trolled at bit with 1 peanut to show for it...laid down nicely around 2:00

Any of you in WPB have experience with Lowrance HDS MFD's? Could use assistance with tuning my device better. I think it should be showing more targets then it does, unless of course there aren't any targets to be seen. Judging by recent reports, thit's a possibility.
PM me if you can assist. Thanks

Went with a friend yesterday morning out of PB inlet, caught a few gaffers and a small wahoo before we decided to call it quits. It was choppy to say the least but well worth it

What depths? North or South out the inlet? What did the fish hit? Troll or dead/live baiting?

Headed out tomorrow with a few buddies in from out of town. Want to show them a good time.

Follow Black Dog around and you will find fish.
Not saying you`ll catch them, but it couldn`t hurt.
