Default Bimini wahoo fishing or lack there of

Well you gotta report the good with the bad! fished half a day this past Thursday, all day Friday and all day sat. Everything from high speed, lure fished a little, and then planer fished ballyhoo on wire rigs. Covered from the Isaacs to South of the Salt Mine, plenty of flyers that are typically found all over bimini but no fish, one little dolphin. 4 or 5 other boats fished, one claimed to have caught 4 wahoos one day but no one ever saw them. We did see one boat catch one wahoo(25lbs) and another boat unload 3. If you think about 4 boats covering at least 100 miles per day that's no very good. I hope the fishing picks up This coming weekend over ther efor that meat mayhem tournament. I did see a decent report from one boat out of Chub from Sat. All this North winds should have the sails chewing on this side.
Good luck everyone and happy Thanksgiving

It wasn't a great weekend for fishing anywhere. Couldn't find a sail on Friday or Saturday we put in two full days. Most boats that I heard of only got a single. Tons of mahi though....

Same for us on the Wahoo in West End. Several boats fished out of Old Bahama Bay Thur&Fri. Didn't hear of or see any wahoo caught Thursday, one boat said they had fished 3 days without a wahoo bite. We caught 1 of 2 wahoo in 2.5 days of trolling!

Was there a couple weeks ago before the full moon. The afternoon I arrived a boat had gotten back with 14 wahoo. We fished south in the afternoons and went north to the Isaacs and Gingers with only one wahoo under 20lbs. Seems very hit or miss.
