Default Bimini Rum - Drop in and storage marina?

howdy all!

first post on hull truth! Taking my 27 Gamefish to Bimini for the first time. We live in Tampa and will be towing the boat over to make the run on labor day weekend. Suggested marina to drop in a store trailer/truck for 4 days? I hear alot about Harbor Towne but looking for an option B in case that on is full.

Thanks in advance to all!

There is no ramp at Harbour Towne, so they will charge you to lift off trailer, but there is a ramp next door that city of Dania Beach has, and maybe the marina will agree to just store your boat trailer wire in Bimini

Bimini Rum? Try it with coke and a squeeze of lime.

Huh? No ramp, no truck & trailer parking? Have things changed at Harbour Towne?

This is 100% false.

Harbour Towne won't fill up....unless you're going on a holiday weekend, then just be sure to get there early.

Harbour Towne definitely has ramps on location not sure who actually owns them but HT will give you a parking receipt with HT letterhead so I assume it's theirs, plenty of parking even for large rigs if I was planning on leaving mine for an extended period it would for sure be there.

Yes Harbour Town has ramps, generally has parking, and has security.
Rates are cheap and I haven't seen it full but maybe it happens I just haven't seen it in the last 4 years,
Plus it is minutes from Bass Pro Shops and some newer hotels right in front of Bass Pro. And plenty of near by gas stations. I don/t know about ethanol free though as I have diesel.

Those ramps have been there since I was a kid in the 70's that I know of. I use to go fishing with my FIL and BIL and we launched his boat there. They were the city's ramps long before Harbor Town and the marina was built. Back then it was Dinks and the baseball fields were where the slips that the big boats are now. The Dania sewer plant was there as my dad worked there. They are all long gone now. There use to be a big problem with trailers stolen and such quite a few years ago. The city then let them develop the marina and built the community center for the city as part of the deal. More that likely a long term lease and the city still owns the land.
Yes it is very secure now as they have 24 hour security and heard nothing but good things about them.

Yes that was the last year according to the ccc club site. From 73 to 86 called a few different names but the same hull run.
