If you had one year to live in South Florida, what would you do?

I was stationed in Miami (living in Broward) about 18 months ago and I am tour complete next summer. I spent the first 6 months acclimating to the area, new billet, and getting my family settled. Over the last year I have been stumbling upon new things such as the Guy Harvey HQ 20 mins from my house, the IGFA Hall of Fame in Ft Lauderdale (even w/out the museum) and a lot of great boat builders in the area.
Point of all this is that I am looking at my transfer next July so what things should be on my bucket list prior to departing? I had to sell my boat prior to moving here to cover deposits but have recently started hitting up charters out of Haulover Inlet and am looking into one out of Key West but haven't received a response back yet. What fishing trips or fishing related activities would you HAVE to do or see if you were here for only one year? Thanks.

Take a trip to Key West. From there take the ferry to the Dry Tortuga's and Ft Jefferson. Lots of info about it on line. No fishing but your family will love it. Do a sword charter either in the Keys, or right there in your area. Get recommendations on a Captain before you book someone.

Here's a few out of the way interesting things to do before you leave Miami
Go have a drink at the Biltmore
Take the kids swimming at Venetian Pool
Go bicycling from Coconut Grove south thru Matheson Hammock
Go have lunch at Garcias on the river for fresh seafood
Take a drive around loop road http://www.floridarambler.com/florid...tamiami-trail/
Bicycle or take the tram around shark valley in the everglades https://www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvis...ley-trails.htm
Grab breakfast from one of those windows at a cuban restaurant, cafe con leche, 3-4 ham croquettes and a guava/cream cheese pastry
Walk/bike the Hollywood Broadwalk
Snorkel a reef in the keys
Try a conch fritter at Alabama Jacks on the way down to the keys, card sound road route

Do an overnight Tortugas trip on the Yankee Capts https://yankeecapts.com/
Take a charter to Bimini , I think Bouncer does these , I have seen him there a few times . He can also put you on sails and tarpon locally http://www.captbouncer.com/
If you want day time swordfishing in the keys go with this guy http://budnmarys.com/broad-minded.html
